I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with some fantastic features like the beautiful river view and the various accommodations available, from tents to yurts. The staff showed kindness during a tough time, helping us find a suitable room at a reasonable price. However, the cost of showering and the presence of large RVs blocking the river view were disappointing. Overall, while it’s a lovely location to unwind, the minor inconveniences left something to be desired.
My stay at Fernwood was a blend of comfort and kindness. I was grateful for the accommodating staff who swiftly arranged a lovely room for us during a downpour, which felt like a true blessing. The adventure tent experience was unique, sleeping under the towering redwoods, but I did have some concerns regarding privacy due to the shared facilities. Though there were a few drawbacks like the lack of housekeeping during our stay and noise from the nearby campsites, I would still consider returning for the overall ambiance and the beautiful nature surrounding us.
I had a wonderful stay in Cabin 31, which is tucked away in a beautiful spot surrounded by towering redwoods. The cabin was spacious and perfect for my family with a cozy setup. It was very convenient to access the nearby trails, but I did think the dining options could use some extra variety, especially for breakfast. Overall, it was a great base for our Big Sur adventures, with a few trade-offs.
My stay at Fernwood was a pleasant surprise. The place is tucked away in the woods and has a cozy, rustic feel that complemented the beautiful surroundings. The rooms were clean and offered convenience with parking right outside. While the Wi-Fi was spotty, I appreciated the simple amenities. Dining was a high point, with great food served quickly. However, the lack of connectivity might be a downside for some. Overall, it felt like a hidden gem worth returning to.
Our stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. The setting is indeed beautiful and the space is quite spacious, but the service left much to be desired. While we enjoyed the amenities, particularly the fireplace in the room, the dining experience was less than ideal with some offerings not up to par. Overall, it's a decent value for money, but improvements are needed in various areas.
